PVH Strengthens Leadership with New COO from Capri During Sourcing Crisis
Patricia Gabriel steps in as David Savman transitions to his role as Global Brand President at Calvin Klein. This marks another shift in the upper echelon of PVH leadership following the exits of Eva Serrano and Eva Vidal.
PVH strengthens its operations management in the midst of a supply chain crisis due to tariff changes. The group, owner of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, has chosen Patricia Gabriel, from Capri Holdings, to lead its supply chain and as global head of operations, replacing David Savman, who will be fully dedicated to his position as global brand president at Calvin Klein.
The group said in a statement Thursday that the new executive will join the company in the fourth quarter of the year, and will report directly to Stefan Larsson, CEO of PVH.
Patricia Gabriel comes to PVH from Capri Holdings, where she is currently in charge of the supply chain for brands such as Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo and Versace. With more than 25 years of experience in this field, Gabriel has also worked outside the fashion industry at companies such as Mondelez International and AB inBev.

PVH CEO Stefan Larsson said Patricia Gabriel “is a consumer-focused supply chain and operations leader with a strong track record driving growth” for the companies.
“As we move forward with our plan to consolidate Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger as the world’s most desired brands, Gabriel’s experience and ability to generate value will open up new opportunities to accelerate progress,“ the CEO added.
Gabriel will oversee PVH’s global operations at all stages, from product to consumer, “working closely with brands, regions and functions to energize all parties,“ the statement said.
For her part, the new board has stated that “operational excellence and supply chain optimization will be competitive advantages that will drive growth and innovation” for the company.
Changes in PVH’s top management
PVH has undergone several changes at the top in recent months. It opened with the departure of Spain’s Eva Serrano in May, who left her position as global president of Calvin Klein. A few months later, the departure of Eva Vidal was announced, who left the brand’s product direction two and a half years after joining the company.
In June, PVH was in the red in its first three months of the fiscal year, with losses and a cut in forecasts. It closed the period with $44.8 million in losses. Gross profit, meanwhile, fell by 3.09%, although it remained positive at $1.162 billion.
However, the group was able to raise its forecasts for August as a whole, after a second quarter in which both sales and profits rose thanks to the Calvin Klein campaign with Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny. The company closed the second quarter with sales up 4.48%, to $2.167 billion.
