Richard Dickson has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Gap Inc. since August 22, 2023, when he took over the role following an interim period under Bob Martin. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Economics from the University of Maryland and completed an executive program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Dickson joined Gap’s Board of Directors in November 2022, while serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of Mattel. Before Mattel, he led Branded Businesses at The Jones Group, founded Gloss.com, and held executive roles at Bloomingdale’s.
