Founded in 1968 by American designer Calvin Klein, the brand is now part of the PVH conglomerate, which took over the company in 2003. The group has built an empire of perfumes, underwear, men's fashion, women's fashion and jewelry around the Calvin Klein brand, which has set itself the goal of becoming a $10 billion business.

With a prime New York address, the U.S. company makes a comeback with a smaller store footprint than its forays in Tokyo and Paris, aligning with its ongoing brand relaunch efforts.
