OVS Boosts Sales & Profit: 9% Revenue Growth and 9.5% Profit Surge in Q3
Italy’s retail titan recovers its momentum, surging ahead after a slight sales downturn in fiscal 2024. With OVS at the forefront, the firm posts gains in both revenue and EBITDA.
OVS grows for another quarter. The Italian distribution group increased its turnover to €451.9 million in the third quarter of the fiscal year, up 9% compared to the same period last year. In the same vein, the company increased its gross operating profit (ebitda) by 9.5% to €50.6 million.
The group has also managed to maintain a positive evolution in its sales in the first nine months of the fiscal year. Specifically, the company achieved a turnover of €1.24 billion in this period, 58% more than in the first nine months of 2024.
OVS’s ebitda also increased in the first nine months of the year as a whole, from €135.2 million to €152.3 million, up 12.6%. Adjusted debt, as of October 31, 2025, amounted to €297.8 million, almost €17 million higher than in 2024.

By proposals, OVS has the highest turnover, with sales of €898.1 million in the first nine months of the year, 3.6% more than in the same period last year. Upim, meanwhile, increased its turnover by 1.3% to €281.5 million in the same period. As for Stefanel, the company provides only the percentage of comparable sales, which would have increased by 10%.
With data from the end of October, the company has 2,660 points of sale, 1,214 of which are company-owned stores and 1,448 are franchises. Italy continues to be the market in which the company has the strongest presence, with 2,153 points of sale. Of these, 762 are OVS, 377 are Upim, 63 are Stefanel and twelve are GAP. Internationally, OVS has 111 points of sale, Upim nine and Stefanel 34.
This year, the Italian group decided to strengthen its home textiles division by launching a binding offer to acquire Kasanova for 15 million euros. The deal adds to a list of several recent acquisitions by OVS, which has taken over Goldenpoint, les Copains and Stefanel. In addition, the group opened its first OVS store in India.
OVS closed 2024 with a slight drop in sales. However, during the 2025 financial year, it regained muscle. In the first half of the year ended July 31st, it posted sales of €792.9 million, 4.1% more than in the same period of the previous year. Profit was €45.8 million, up 31.7%.
