Mango continues to renew its team. The fashion retail group has reshuffled the management of its main line, Mango Woman, with the signing of Eva Gallego, until now a manager at El Corte Inglés. Gallego replaces Luis Maseres, who is leaving the company by her own decision to start a new professional project.

Gallego’s incorporation will take place in the next few days. The executive was director of fashion accessories, luxury, jewelry, watches and footwear at El Corte Inglés from July 2021 to June 2025. Gallego joined the department store group from Tous, where she had been director of the Tous accessories division since November 2018. Previously, she had worked at LVMH.

Luis Maseres, meanwhile, has been director of Mango’s women’s division since March 2021. Previously, he was responsible for the footwear and accessories area at the same brand, a position he held since 2014. In addition, the executive worked as head of the same division for C&A. With a degree in Chemistry from the University of Alicante, Maseres began his career in the fashion industry in 1999 as product manager of footwear at Zara. At Inditex, the executive worked for twelve years, where he was responsible for footwear at Massimo Dutti and director of Uterqüe.

The changes in the production of Mango Woman come just weeks after Mango reorganized its product team following the decision of Jonathan Andic, son of Mango’s founder, to leave the day-to-day running of the company to focus on the management of the family’s estates. Until mid-June, Jonathan Andic was the head of Mango Man, the company’s men’s line.

All of Mango’s product lines (women’s, men’s, children’s and home) report to Luis Casacuberta, who holds the position of chief product officer. Casacuberta leads the executives of the different lines of the group: Josep Estol in Mango Man; Berta Moral in Mango Kids and Teen; Núria Font in Mango Home and, now, Eva Gallego in Mango Woman. She also represents all of them on the company’s management committee.

Mango Woman is the driving force behind the group’s sales. The women’s clothing line, the first with which Mango was launched on the market, posted sales of 2,645 million euros in 2024. This translates into a weight of up to 79.2% of the company’s total turnover, a slightly lower weight than in 2023, when the Woman line accounted for 81% of the group’s business.
