More changes at Mango. The company has confirmed that Jonathan Andic, son of the company's founder, Isak Andic (who died suddenly last December), is stepping down from day-to-day management. Jonathan Andic will now dedicate himself entirely to the management of the company's assets (which control both the investments and the ownership of the company) and will maintain his position as vice chairman of Mango's board of directors.

Jonathan Andic was until now director of Mango Man, the group's men's fashion line, whose launch in 2008 he himself led. However, in recent years the executive had been supported by a team led by Josep Estol, who takes over as director of the line, as has advanced El Periódico and confirmed Modaes.

The son of Mango's founder also held a seat on the management committee, which will now be abolished. The company has reorganized its structure and from now on Mango Man will be included in a global product division, which will include the rest of the company's lines.

This position will be held by Luis Casacuberta as the new chief product officer. Casacuberta was until now the head of Woman, Kids, Teen and Home, with a position on the management committee.

"With this step, Jonathan Andic continues with the process of separation between ownership and management initiated in 2020 by Isak Andic -the company has pointed out-; the decision, taken within the family at the end of last year and still during his lifetime, will become effective in the coming weeks".

"Jonathan Andic will focus fully on his corporate governance and wealth management responsibilities to preserve and expand Isak Andic's legacy from his various positions in the Andic family's wealth management companies, mostly managed from the family's parent company, Punta Na Holding, S.A., of which he is chairman," the company said.

Jonathan Andic will share corporate governance responsibilities with his sisters, Sarah and Judith Andic, with whom the positions in the Andic family's holding companies are equally divided. Sarah Andic is vice-president of MNG Mango Holding, SAU, secretary of Punta Na Holding, SA and president of Punta Na, SAU. Judith Andic is vice-president of MNG Mango Holding, SAU; member and proxy of Punta Na Holding, SA and member of Punta Na SAU.

Jonathan Andic joined the company in 2005, first in the design area, to become the head of Mango's men's line just two years later. The executive and son of the founder had been at the helm of the division for almost twenty years, which he combined with responsibilities in other areas.

With a degree in audiovisual communication from the United States, Andic furthered his education at the IESE business school, where he specialized in accounting and finance, and management. Since 2012, Andic has also been a member of the company's board of directors, where he has held the position of vice-chairman since December.

Until now he worked hand in hand with Andic, in the position of general manager of Mango Man since 2022. The executive came to the Catalan company from Awwg, specifically from Hackett London, where he worked for eight years in different positions of responsibility. A business graduate from Pompeu Fabra University, and after training in general management at IESE, Estol began his career at Inditex in 2006, from where he eventually arrived at Massimo Dutti and spent four years.

Andic's departure from the men's line coincides with the restructuring process at the top of Mango, which began shortly after the death of the founder in December. It was precisely Jonathan Andic who drove the creation of Mango Man in 2008, diversifying Mango's offer beyond women's fashion for the first time.

Today, the division has more than 600 points of sale in ninety international markets in physical form. By the end of 2024, Mango Man represents 12% of the group's total turnover, one point more than in the previous year. In total, the company's sales through the men's line stood at 408 million euros, up 20%.
