Avon International Transitions to Regent LP Ownership After Natura Sale
The Brazilian cosmetics giant has finalized the sale of its major brand’s international division across Europe, Asia, and Africa, while retaining control over operations in Latin America.
Natura divests Avon, except in Latin America. The Brazilian cosmetics giant has closed the sale of Avon’s international division to the U.S. company Regent LP, owned by the PDC Group, a consumer products company. Natura will retain the operations and brand in Latin America. The transaction was valued at a symbolic one pound sterling and Natura reaffirmed last December 31st its commitment to provide Avon with a $25 million credit facility in the coming year.
Regent LP thus acquires control of Avon in Europe, Asia and Africa, while the Avon brand in Latin America, including economic rights and intellectual property, remains the property of Natura, the company explained in a statement. The transaction also does not include Avon’s operations in Russia.
As part of the company’s international restructuring, Natura has reaffirmed its commitment to provide Avon International with a credit line of up to $25 million until December of this year and maturing within five years.
Natura ended the first nine months of 2025 with a 1.9% decline in sales, reaching $2.9 billion
Natura already disposed of its operations in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic last September, as part of the divestment strategy the company initiated to get out of the red. These operations were also acquired by the PDC Group for a symbolic payment of one dollar.
According to Natura’s latest quarterly report, the group’s operations in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico account for 85% of its revenues.
Natura, owner of Avon and Natura, and previously also of The Body Shop, ended the first nine months of 2025 with a new decline in sales, but having significantly reduced its losses in the period.
According to information published by Natura, the group ended the period with sales of 16,024 million Brazilian reais ($2.9 billion).The company’s gross profit, meanwhile, was 10,738 million reais ($1.99 billion), another 1% lower than a year ago.
