Bimba y Lola continues to strengthen its top management body. A few months after adding the former CEO of Tous to its board, the Spanish company owned by the Domínguez family has announced the incorporation of Natalia Gamero, a former executive of the Condé Nast publishing group.

According to the company, Gamero will bring to the board her experience in global brand management. Managing director for Europe, Mexico, Latin America and the Middle East at Condé Nast until last August, Gamero spent 20 years at Condé Nast Spain, where she was president and CEO. She is also currently a member of the board of directors of Prosegur.

The addition of Gamero to the board reinforces our strategic vision as a brand,“ said Uxia Domínguez, co-founder and CEO; “her experience leading transformation processes and international growth in creative organizations gives us a unique and invaluable knowledge for the current stage of Bimba y Lola”.

Although it was announced last year, this year Carlos Soler-Duffo, former CEO of Tous, will formally join the company’s board of directors.

Bimba y Lola’s board of directors is made up of Uxía Domínguez, president; María Domínguez, vice-president; Jesús Domínguez, proprietary director; José Manuel Martínez Gutiérrez, CEO; Sylvie Colin, independent director; Fernando Martínez Albacete, proprietary director; and Eva Hernando, secretary of the board. Until last December, the board of directors also included Cristina Trujillo, a former executive of groups such as Desigual, as an independent director.

Bimba y Lola ended the 2024 financial year (ended last February) reducing its net result by more than 75%, to €1.5 million. The company’s gross operating profit (ebitda) also fell, to €19.3 million. The company closed 2024 with revenues of €234.2 million, compared to 227.1 million in 2023.
