Leadership Transition at Vestiaire Collective: Co-Founder Fanny Moizant Steps Down
French luxury resale company continues to reshape its leadership team following the CEO transition. The co-founder remarked, “This is not a decision I made, nor one I anticipated.“
The changes continue at Vestiaire Collective. Following the departure of the CEO, it is now the company’s co-founder, Fanny Moizant, who is leaving the company, which specializes in the sale of second-hand luxury goods. The entrepreneur, who until now held the presidency of the French company, has announced her departure herself.
“I am leaving the company as part of recent organizational changes,“ Moizant said via social networks. “It is not a decision that I made, nor that I expected, but I accept that it marks the end of an extraordinary chapter,“ she said.

Moizant launched Vestiaire Collective in 2009 with Sébastien Fabre, Sophie Hersan, Alexandre Cognard, Henrique Fernandes and Christian Jorge. Today, only Hersan remains with the company.
With an estimated turnover of around €500 million, his business has faced increasing competition in recent years. Last October, in response to doubts about its performance, the company appointed Bernard Osta as CEO, taking over from Maximilian Bittner, who had led the company for seven years.
Over the years, the company has succeeded in attracting investors to finance its development. In January 2024, Vestiaire Collective launched a crowdfunding process to raise €1 million. The company’s shareholders include the Puig family (through Vaultier7) or the luxury group Kering.
