Adidas joins Nike stating store closures over coronavirus

“We have to keep the company going and open for business to ensure that we can pay our monthly bills and salaries to everyone,” said Kasper Rorsted, the CEO of the German sportswear maker. Adidas, along with Rebook owned stores will be closing temporarily, announced the company over an email.  

In Europe, store will be closed from March 18 through 29. In the United States From March 17 to 29. “At Adidas, the health and safety of our employees, customers and partners have the highest priority,” said the group, adding that affected employees will be compensated for their planned working hours despite closures.  

  
The German company joins Nike, Lululemon, Under Armour, who on Sunday closed their stores in North America and other markets.
