Pitti Immagine Bimbo and Pitti Filati join forces. Both trade fairs will be held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, although each with its own distinct spaces. The first will take place from January 21st to 22nd, while the second will last one more day, until January 23rd.

The 102nd edition of Pitti Immagine Bimbo, the professional kidswear fair, will be held on the penthouse floor of the central pavilion of the Fortezza Fortezza. The central pavilion of the Fortezza da Baso will present around 150 fall/winter 2026/2027 collections, more than 65% of which will be international. At the same time, the Pitti Filati yarn fair will be held from January 21st to 23rd, dedicated to the world of textiles, yarns, fibers and complementary sectors to spinning and knitting.

As Pitti Imagine CEO Raffaello Napoleone told Pambianconews, the decision to combine the events was made “so as not to overload exhibitors”, and he said it was an “essential optimization”. In the future, he opens the door to organizing the event dedicated to children’s fashion alongside Pitti Uomo, the format par excellence dedicated to men’s fashion.

From the management of Pitti Imagine explain that, when the works are finished, the Fortezza will have more space. In this regard, they point out that some of the clients who come to the event for men’s fashion are also interested in children’s fashion, so a merger between the two fairs would make sense.

According to the commercial director of Pitti Immagine, Antonio Cristaudo, companies are taking longer and longer to confirm their participation, and in this edition they will have around 85% and 90% of the collections present in the last editions.

In this context, Pitti Bimbo has announced a collaboration between the fair and Bobo Choses, a Spanish company, giving birth to a new area, The New Edit. The aim is, in addition to presenting its collections, to organize special events and presentations. Maison Mangostan, Mini Rodini, Piupiuchick, Tinycottons, The New Society, True Atist and Bobo Choses itself have confirmed their participation.
