Roksanda incorporates Spanish talent to its top management. The British luxury fashion company has appointed Patricia Sancho as CEO, the first executive to hold the position following the change in control of the brand, owned by The Brand Group since May 2024. Sancho has an extensive track record in the industry, having held senior positions at companies such as Tous, Tempe and Temperley London.

With a degree in business from the University of Nebrija and a master’s degree in marketing from Esic, Sancho took her first steps in Club 21 in 2004 as head of the Armani Jeans brand. Four years later, she was appointed commercial director for Europe and the Middle East at the U.S. brand Juicy Couture, a position she held for five years, until 2013. It was then that she made the leap to Temperley London as senior vice president of global sales and, as early as 2015, she was promoted to CEO of the British company.

Three years later, she joined Tempe, owned by the Inditex group, as co-CEO, before founding her own consultancy in 2020, Atenea Ltd, where she remains CEO to this day. At the same time, in 2023, she was appointed to the board of the Catalan company Tous.

“Roksanda is one of the most original and emotionally resonant voices in fashion,“ said Sancho, on the occasion of the announcement of her appointment, “ my priority will be to drive thoughtful growth, anchored in the brand’s core values of growing with intention and integrity. Damian Hopkins, CEO of The Brand Group, said that the executive joins the company at a “key moment, as we enter the next phase of growth and global expansion”.

Roksanda’s appointment, effective immediately, is part of the company’s consolidation plan following its acquisition by The Brand Group in May 2024. The group also has a portfolio of brands such as Vivere and Unhidden.

Following the purchase of the firm, the creative direction remains with its founder, Serbian designer Roksanda Ilincic, who had already filed a notice with the intention of appointing a trustee of the company in 2024.

Roksanda has been a fixture on the London Fashion Week calendar since its debut in 2005, and its stockists include Net-a-porter, Harrods, Liberty and Harvey Nichols. Known for its dramatic, colorful silhouettes, the British company opened its first and only in-house store in 2014, located at 9 Mount Street in London’s Mayfair neighborhood.
