Calzedonia Boosts Tezenis Presence in Madrid with Spain’s Largest Flagship
Italy’s intimate fashion and hosiery leader expands its youthful line with the launch of the largest store in the country. At 370 square meters, the new location enhances the brand’s presence among its 129 stores.
Calzedonia shores up the Tezenis network in Spain. The young chain owned by the Italian intimate apparel and hosiery company has raised the shutter on a new flagship store at number 7 Preciados Street, in the center of Madrid. The Italian group, which in the last year has promoted the new Intimissimi Uomo concept, has benefited from the development of Intimissimi or Tezenis, while continuing to reorganize its network of stores.
With a total area of 4,000 square feet distributed over two floors, the new Tezenis store becomes the brand’s largest store in Spain, reaching a total of 129 points of sale in the territory.
According to the Franchising Calzedonia company’s accounts for 2024, which were filed at the Mercantile Registry at the beginning of September, the Italian company ended the year in Spain with a turnover of €331.95 million, which represents a growth of 6.96% compared to 2023, when the company achieved a turnover of €310.35 million.
Calzedonia has a network of 356 points of sale in Spain, and another 317 franchises
Among the company’s latest moves is the opening of a new Intimissimi store in Italy, located in Via Montenapoleone, in the historic center district of Milan. With more than 2,500 square feet distributed over two floors, the new opening adds to the chain’s network of 484 points of sale in Italy, of the total of 1,737 stores it operates in more than 54 countries around the world.

Calzedonia operates through the Oniverse holding company in Spain with a network of 356 directly operated stores and 317 franchised stores, compared to 330 company-owned stores and 337 franchised stores in 2023. The commercial brands present in the country are Calzedonia, Intimissinni, Intimissinni Uomo, Tezenis and Falconeri.
For the 2025 financial year, Oniverse’s objectives were to “slightly exceed the turnover of the existing year compared to the previous year, considering a lower number of points of sale at the end of the year, as a result of the strategic commercial decisions taken on reorganization that involve various closures or changes in the sales management channel”.
Internationally, Oniverse ended the 2024 financial year with a 13.5% increase in sales, reaching €3.5 billion. At the close of the previous year, the group had a total of 5,732 stores, of which 3,798 are outside Italy.
