Blue Banana diversifies with entry into perfumery. The Madrid-based fashion company has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its first unisex fragrance, Advntr. With this move, the company is entering a lucrative segment for fashion companies, diversifying its business at a time of maturity when it is about to celebrate a decade of trajectory.

The new Blue Banana perfume has been manufactured by The Fragance Force in Barcelona, which also supplies brands such as Gant, Guy Laroche, Harper&Neyer and Hawaii Tropic. Production is carried out at the company’s facilities, located in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Blue Banana has been immersed in an ambitious expansion plan that has led it to have fifty points of sale in Spain alone in a decade. In addition, this year the Madrid-based company has entered the Chilean market through the 7veinte chain, and in Lebanon, where it raised the shutter on points of sale in ABC stores.

The company’s goal is to reach 69 points of sale by 2026, the year in which the company’s first strategic plan will be finalized, coinciding with its first decade of history. By then, Blue Banana also expects to have expanded its international presence to 18 different countries.

Blue Banana closed the 2024 financial year with a turnover of €24 million, 24% more than the previous year. That same year, gross operating profit (ebitda) fell by 44% compared to 2023, to just over one million euros, according to the company’s sustainability report.
