Denim Evolves: Première Vision Showcases Sustainable Luxe with Over 65 Exhibitors in Milan
The professional denim fair is set to make its return to Superstudio Più on November 26th and 27th, 2025, spotlighting sustainability, technical innovation, and the spring-summer 2027 trends.
Denim Première Vision returns to Milan with a proposal that reflects the moment the denim industry is going through: more regulatory pressure, greater demand for traceability and a progressive shift towards lower-impact materials and processes. The latest edition of the event will bring together suppliers, trendsetters and innovation labs to offer an updated snapshot of the sector for the spring-summer 2027 season.
The fair will incorporate very different profiles, from historical specialists to young companies with experimental technical proposals. Among the participants will be Amy Leverton, consultant and founder of Denim Dudes, who will participate in trend analysis alongside Première Vision’s in-house team. Kering’s innovation laboratory (MIL) will act as guest of honor in the SStyle - Denim Lab space, where eight designers will present projects focused on new materials and sustainability criteria.
Kristian Guerra, designer of 44 Level Group, will sign the artistic direction of the Denim Forum and will participate in a meeting on the aesthetic codes that will mark the denim of the next cycle. His task will be to translate the exhibitors’ proposals into a visual reading of the trends.
Denim Première Vision: technical innovation for a sector in transformation
The program revolves around innovation and responsible luxury. The first axis brings together developments that seek to reduce the use of resources in production, such as dyes from Chloris Biochem, cocoa fiber used by Doors or Emily Gubbay’s circular dyeing system. Calik will present a waterless dyeing process, one of the most relevant technological advances of the edition.
The second is oriented to the premium market, with companies such as Geocot, Takisada, Kaitac or Isko, which will present new fabrics and finishes with a focus on durability and the repositioning of denim within the higher-value categories. The organizers point out that the show will feature more than 65 international exhibitors covering the value chain: fabric manufacturers (60%), apparel (20%), accessories (6%) and chemicals (5%).
The expansion of the Fashion District is another of the show’s moves to strengthen its connection with the brand market. The area will double in size and will host more than twenty companies that will present capsules made in collaboration with suppliers, including Daily Blue by Adriano Goldschmied, Marios, Kentroy Yearwood, Simon Cracker and Victor Hart.
In addition to the commercial area, the show will launch Index Denim, a space that will bring together 150 samples of fabrics and accessories from some thirty exhibitors. Its aim is to facilitate sourcing in a fast and comparable way for buyers and product teams.
The next Première Vision will take place in December in Paris
The Denim Forum, designed by Kristian Guerra, will bring together materials, technical developments and a selection of silhouettes created by exhibitors. The idea is to offer a cross-cutting reading of trends, not only from samples or fabrics, but from the dialogue between technique and design. This is the first time that the forum incorporates complete pieces produced by suppliers.
In addition, the show will also host the 50th anniversary celebration of Sportswear International, which will organize a meeting with Pioneer Denim as part of the fair. The event is part of the parallel program with which Première Vision seeks to connect suppliers, designers and cultural actors.
The full list of exhibitors includes companies such as Calik Denim, Isko, Kuroki, Pioneer Denim, Pure Denim, Kilim Denim, Sharabati, Zen Kiwami or W Denim, among others, representing both historical producers and companies specializing in chemical processes or finishing.
