As for the public, the previous registration of the fair has already exceeded 5,000 professionals who will attend the event.

The event will take place at Feria de Valencia, in a pavilion with a surface area of 20,000 square meters, following the change of location that comes hand in hand with the expansion of the fair. Babykid Spain + Fimi will celebrate its centennial legacy with an exhibition under the name 100 Editions of Children’s Fashion, an immersive journey through the history of the fair. In addition, there will be a commemorative fashion show, Fimi 100, which will be held today and will feature the participation of Babidu, Babyboli, Babyboli and Babyboli.Babidu, Babybol, Belan, Cua-Cuak, Dadati, Eva Schulz Showroom, Fina Ejerique, Foque, Granlei, Javilar Kids, Manuela Montero, Martín Aranda, Mayoral, Newness, Ponto por Ponto, Rapife, Sardon, Siena Hair Accesories, Tartaleta and Tuc Tuc.

The event has become one of the historical fairs of the fashion sector in Spain, debuting at the Ifema venue in Madrid in January 2014. The event, owned by Feria de Valencia, had been held until then in the city of Turia. In the Spanish capital, the show had been located until 2018 at the Palacio de Cristal in the Casa de Campo. The move from Valencia to Madrid served as a revival for Fimi, which had stalled its growth and, in 2019, the fair returned to Valencia.

The fair is organized by the Spanish Association of Children’s Products (Asepri) and Feria Valencia, and is supported by Icex España Exportación e Inversiones and the Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness (Ivace).

Fimi’s objective is focused on boosting the children’s fashion sector, which has suffered from the generalized low birth rate, especially in Spain. According to Asepri data, the sector relies mainly on exports, which account for 52% of the volume, with countries such as Italy and Portugal as main buyers.
