Lefties explores channels. The smallest chain of the Inditex group has announced the opening of a new outlet store in the Alegra shopping park in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid. The company, known for its affordable prices, takes this step hand in hand with Neinver, an initiative that contrasts with its recent moves to reposition its image, combined with its international expansion strategy.

The store has an area of approximately 26,000 square feet and offers fashion collections for women, men and children, as well as footwear, accessories, homewear and sportswear. According to a press release, its offer does not include one of the proposals for which it has bet more recently, and which is called to lead its repositioning: Lefties Home.

Lefties takes a step forward towards the outlet format at a time when all the concepts of the Spanish fashion retail group Inditex are looking for a higher image and a reinforcement of its aspirational universe. The group’s lowest-cost chain is also following this strategy, combined with an international drive. For its part, the Galician group explores only the outlet format through its for&from proposal .

In this regard, in November Lefties launched a new store in Italy, in the Leone Shopping Center of Lonato, in Lonato del Garda, with which it introduced its proposal Lefties Home, dedicated to furniture and home textiles. The aim is to find its place within the renewed Inditex, with Zara opening stores that are becoming more and more refined in what could be considered an approach to the world of luxury.

In its efforts, Lefties renewed its management team, diversified its offer with the home line and prepared a strategy of expansion into major European markets. The collections, with a warmer and softer style than the one that had traditionally characterized the chain, pointed in this direction. In 2026, Inditex plans to launch Lefties in France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany, stores that will already have the chain’s new image and offer.

As a sign of this increased importance within the group, in September, Inditex included the name Lefties in its half-year results for the first time in the chain’s history. Although Lefties’ figures have always been included alongside those of Zara and Zara Home, this year the chain’s name appeared verbatim in the document. In total, the three concepts accumulated sales of €13.150 billion, 0.89% more than the previous year, and accounting for 71.63% of the group’s total turnover.

Beyond the figures provided by the group, and according to the annual accounts of the company Nikole, through which Lefties operates and which are available for consultation at the Mercantile Registry, Lefties ended the last fiscal year, which ended in January 2025, with a turnover of €644.81 million, which represented a growth of 17.44% compared to the previous year, when it recorded revenues of €549.04 million. This isthe highest growth rate of all Inditex concepts in the last fiscal year.

In addition to Alegra, Lefties has a selected outlet format presence in Nassica and Las Rozas The Style Outlets (Madrid), managed by Neinver, operator of outlet shopping centers in Spain and Poland. It is also present in Sevilla Fashion Outlet and, in Portugal, in Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet.
