Inditex expands Lefties in the European market. The fashion retail giant continues with the international rollout of its smallest chain and plans the arrival of Lefties in one of the main shopping areas of Düsseldorf in the coming weeks, according to German media.

The chain that took its first steps as a Zara outlet and has now become a format with its own identity and model will land for the first time in the German city soon, although the location has not been published.

As part of Lefties’ international repositioning, Inditex renewed the chain’s management team in the middle of this year. It diversified its offer to a Home line and prepared its expansion for 2026 in large European markets, with the aim of landing in France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany.

Last October, Inditex landed with Lefties in Italy with a new store located in the Leone Shopping Center of Lonato, in Lonato del Garda. In addition to the usual lines of the chain, woman, man, teen girl, kids, baby and newborn, it also introduced Lefties Home with a collection dedicated to furniture and home textiles.

After not having detailed the chain’s sales for years, Inditex published, for the first time at the beginning of September, the results of Lefties, which, together with Zara and Zara Home, reached sales of €13.15 billion.

The giant’s goal for its smallest format is to maintain its characteristic reduced ticket while finding its place within the offer of a renewed Inditex.

For the first time in the chain’s history, Inditex put the name Lefties on its half-year results last September. Although Lefties’ figures have always been included alongside those of Zara and Zara Home, this year the chain’s name appeared verbatim in the document. In total, the three concepts accumulated sales of €13.15 billion, 0.89% more than the previous year, and accounting for 71.63% of the group’s total turnover. Inditex also revealed the number of Lefties stores, which at the end of July reached 210 stores.
