Arnault Signals to Trump with New Louis Vuitton Factory in the U.S.
Expanding its luxury production landscape, LVMH will inaugurate a fourth Louis Vuitton factory in the U.S., alongside its four Tiffany sites, aiming for an opening by the end of 2026 or start of 2027.
In the midst of tension over the tariff war opened by Donald Trump, President of the United States, against half the world, Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, gives a nod to the American president. On the occasion of the presentation of first-half results, LVMH announced that Louis Vuitton will open a new production site in the United States.
Louis Vuitton currently has three production sites in the United States, with a fourth to be added soon. “When I arrived at LVMH, Louis Vuitton already had an atelier in the United States; because of the development of the brand in the country, five years ago we opened a new one and now we plan to open another one, always in Texas,“ Arnault said in an interview with Le Figaro.
This new production site is expected to be operational by the end of 2026 or early 2027. In addition to the three Louis Vuitton plants, the French luxury giant has four centers corresponding to the Tiffany jewelry brand in the U.S. market.
