Adidas improves its financial forecasts. The German sports fashion company forecasts revenue growth of up to 12% for the third quarter of the year. The company’s gross margin improved 0.5 percentage points to 51.8% for the period.

Operating profit strengthened to €736 million, compared with €598 million last year. Operating margin rose to 11.1% in the third quarter, compared with 9.3% in the same period last year, as reported by Adidas in a press release on Wednesday.

For 2025 as a whole, Adidas expects double-digit revenue growth. It also expects an operating profit of up to €2 billion, between €200 million and €300 million more than previous forecasts. The company believes that its efforts to mitigate the impact of increased U.S. tariffs are paying off.

“The 12% growth for the Adidas brand, which carries total revenues of €6.63 billion, is the highest we have achieved as a company in a quarter,“ celebrated Bjørn Gulden, CEO. He also assures that performance is increasing in all categories and regions.

Adidas has specified that the 12% growth was calculated without taking into account the Yeezy line, whose stock was sold out last year and is therefore no longer marketed this year. If this product, which did form part of sales in 2024, is taken into account, the increase in revenue remains at 8%.

According to its latest published results for the first half of the year, the company more than doubled its net income and increased its revenues by 7.3%. The company achieved sales of €12.1 billion, almost one billion more than in the same period of the previous year.
