Adidas announces the launch of a new sneaker design. The sports footwear company will launch a new model of the Samba sneakers in partnership with the U.S. multinational beverage company. The sneakers are scheduled for release on June 6 and are priced at approximately $160.

This new design aims to break with the minimalism schemes, or what is also known as quiet luxury, and retake old trends, linking the shoes with one of the most recognized brands of beverages worldwide. With this collaboration they manage to pay tribute to the history of Coca-Cola in sports and the legacy of Adidas in urban fashion.

The sports company and Coca Cola previously collaborated with other models. In April 2016 they released a model of the ClimaCool 1 sneakers with the distinctive red colorway.

Adidas is following a similar strategy to other footwear companies. Recently, at the beginning of January, Crocs launched a collection with Coca-Cola, which featured two models, the Coca-Cola Classic Clog and the Diet Coke Classic Clog. A red and a gray model simulating the packaging of the two most representative beverages of the brand. On October 9th, 2025 Converse launched a limited reissue of its Chuck 70 sneakers also with the aesthetics of the beverage brand.

Adidas ended the first nine months of fiscal 2025 with a 52.17% jump in net income and sales up 5.73% to €18.735 billion. In the third quarter, profit returned to normal and grew by 1.89%, while sales rose by 2.98% to €6.63 billion.
