Ultra Beauty rearranges its team. The American beauty company has reorganized part of its senior leadership team after the departure of Tara Simons, former senior vice president of merchandising overseeing the prestige category. The company has appointed four in-house executives to new roles.

 

Kecia Steelman, up until now chief store operations, has expanded her role to president of international, where the executive will oversee the company’s expansion into Canada. Monica Arnaudo, former senior vice president of merchandising overseeing mass and professional has been tapped as chief merchandising officer and will lead merchandising and assortment strategy.

 

Another change in the company’s senior leadership team is Shelley Haus, who was promoted to chief marketing officer, leading all brand-building and consumer initiatives and finally Prama Bhatt was promoted to chief digital officer, overseeing digital and ecommerce.

 

“Ulta Beauty’s continued success is fueled by a strong leadership team, a winning culture and organizational design that aligns to our strategy and most effectively serves our guests and our associates,” stated Mary Dillon, chief executive officer of Ultra Beauty, in a press release.

 

Ultra Beauty, founded in 1990, is one of the largest beauty retailers in the United States. The company has about 1,241 stores across 50 states and it sells approximately 25,000 products from 500 brands.
