Sephora US boost its omni-retail strategy and promotes six execs
The cosmetics company is promoting six of its executives into newly created roles with the goal of engaging its customers. All the changes will be effective October 14.

Sephora strengthens its inner team to jump in engagement. The cosmetics company, owned by the luxury holding LVMH, has promoted six of its executives into newly created roles to boost its omni-retail strategy and engage its customers.
Satish Malhotra, that has been in the company for more than twenty years, will be promoted from COO to chief retail and operating officer. Some of the other promotions are: Amy Eschliman will become senior vice president of client engagement; Allegra Stanley is being promoted to vice president and general manager of loyalty; Bridget Dolan will become senior vice president of new ventures; Kim Stromberg will become vice president and general manager for ecommerce, and Jeff Schryver has been named vice president of business analytics and insights, according to WWD.

The strategy comes under the lead of the new CEO, Jean-André Rougeot. The executive said in a statement that the new roles are helping the company to reach its new level. “These optimizations include career growth opportunities for several of our talented internal leaders and will best enable us to maintain our omni-mind-set and continue our relentless focus on the client,” Rougeot said.
Sephora, owned by LVMH, is part of its selective retailing category which is the second category of the group with the highest increase. It rose 11%, up to 10.5 billion euros in the first nine months of its fiscal year 2019.
