Oysho strengthens its presence in Europe. In the midst of a rally of store openings in major European cities, the Inditex sports chain has launched its first store in Berlin.
The new Oysho store is located at number 2-3 Hackescher Markt 2-3, just a few steps from Alexanderplatz, according to the company. The Inditex concept store has an area of about 400 square meters, spread over two floors. It is the brand’s second store in the German market, after opening a store in Hamburg at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartie.
On the first floor, a selection of items presents the ski and après-ski collection, including outerwear. On the second floor, the space brings together the athleisure collection.
Oysho had a network of 391 stores last September
Oysho is Inditex’s seventh largest retailer in terms of sales. At the end of the first half of the year, the sports concept had a turnover of 389 million euros, which represents a 5.7% growth compared to the same period in 2024.
As of last September, the Oysho store network consisted of 391 stores, compared to 418 stores twelve months earlier. In recent months, the chain has carried out a deployment of flagship stores, with openings in Amsterdam and Paris.
In September, the chain opened its first store in Amsterdam, located in the central Kalverstraat, just a few meters from Dam Square, with a total area of 1,359 square meters distributed over four floors, with 725 square meters of sales space.
In March, after three months of renovations, the Inditex chain raised the shutter on its new flagship store in Paris, located at number 24, Place de la Madeleine, with more than 500 square meters of floor space.
