Interparfums stays the course. The fragrance specialist group closed the first nine months of the year with sales of €710 million at constant exchange rates, up 4.4% year-on-year. At current rates, the figure amounted to €700 million , up 3%, affected by the depreciation of the dollar.

In the third quarter, the group’s sales amounted to €261.7 million at constant exchange rates, 1.6% more than in the same period of the previous year. Philippe Benacin, Chairman and CEO, said that the group “had a good quarter, partially masked by the unfavorable exchange rate, but which confirms the excellent start to the year and allows us to maintain our target of €900 million for 2025.

The dynamism of the most consolidated brands in the portfolio has sustained the group’s performance. Jimmy Choo maintained its positive trajectory with an increase of 6% in the first nine months, thanks to the continued success of the women’s line I Want Choo and the success of Jimmy Choo Man.

U.S.-based Coach, meanwhile, increased sales 14% thanks to the solid performance of its historic lines and the launch of two new fragrances in the first half. Montblanc, on the other hand, fell 9.5%, weighed down by the slowdown in the Legend Red and Legend Blue lines.

In parallel, Lacoste fragrances continued their upward trend with a 24% rise to almost €79 million, in line with the brand’s repositioning plan and its annual target of €100 million. French maison Lanvin, with no new launches this year, declined by 12%, and Rochas fell by up to 5% despite the good reception of Rochas Audace and Eau de Rochas Néroli Azur.

By market, North America was once again the group’s main growth driver, with a 9% increase in the first nine months of the year. In the United States, Coach and Jimmy Choo sales jumped 18% and 20%, respectively.

In France, the group’s home market, there was also a notable upturn, with a 23% increase in the third quarter and 4% in the first nine months, driven by the good performance of retail and the progress of Lacoste. In Western Europe, the conglomerate maintained moderate growth of 3%, with good performances in the United Kingdom, Spain and Germany.

Finally, in Asia, sales declined 10%, affected by distribution disruptions in Korea and India, although China and Japan maintained growth of 49% and 18%, respectively. In the Middle East, the impact of conflicts and the reduction of points of sale caused a 14% decline, while South America rebounded 9%.

Despite a complex economic and geopolitical context, Interparfums has managed to maintain a sustained growth rate and reaffirm its annual forecast. The group, which owns fragrance licenses for brands such as Jimmy Choo, Coach, Montblanc, Lacoste and Lanvin, is consolidating its position as a major player in selective fragrances, with a strategy based on the balanced development of its portfolio.

The company will publish its 2026 roadmap on November 19th, prior to the opening of the Paris market.
