Brunello Cucinelli Boosts Global Presence with 10.7% Sales Increase in Asia and America
The Italian luxury brand continues to defy the slowdown in the sector in the first half of the year and maintains its ambition for sustained growth, after raising its sales to €684 million in the first half of the year.
Brunello Cucinelli is holding its own in a context of global uncertainty. The Italian luxury company closed the first half of the year with a growth of 10.7% at constant exchange rates, reaching a turnover of €684 million. The increase exceeds analysts’ consensus forecasts, which anticipated sales of €682 million for the period.
The company posted solid growth in its main markets, with a 10% increase in the Americas, 13% in Asia and double-digit growth in China. In Europe, the market has remained “very positive”, according to the company, consolidating the international relevance of the luxury brand.
Brunello Cucinelli confirmed its growth forecasts for the year as a whole, with an estimated increase of around 10% for 2025 and 2026. The company claims that this evolution responds to the “extraordinary positioning” of the brand, focused on the high luxury segment and away from the more volatile behavior of other segments of the sector.
In the first half of the year, the retail channel, which represents more than 60% of the business, grew by 14.4% at constant rates, to €428 million. Like-for-like sales in company-owned stores posted solid and sustained growth, with a particularly significant upturn in the Americas and Asia.
Brunello Cuccinelli reported sustained growth in the first six months of the year
The wholesale channel posted a more moderate performance, with a 5.1% increase at constant exchange rates, to €256 million. The company points out that this channel has benefited from the premium positioning of its distributors and the boost of its international presence.
“The first half of 2025 closed with a result that we consider excellent, in line with forecasts, and which confirms the solidity of our fashion house,“ the company said in a statement. “We are driven by the enthusiasm with which the market has received our collections and stylistic proposals, focused on sobriety, elegance and craftsmanship,“ added Brunello Cuccinelli.
The company, which was the first major European luxury company to publish half-year results, will present its full results at the end of August. Based in Solomeo (Italy), the company maintains its strategy focused on craftsmanship, sustainability and what it calls “contemporary humanism”.
“We think that this year can be defined as an exercise in harmonious growth, based on careful planning that prioritizes quality over quantity,“ advanced the company, which reaffirms its ambition to reach an adjusted ebit margin of 15% in the medium term.
Brunello Cucinelli closed 2024 with a turnover of €1.14 billion, up 23.9% compared to the previous year. In the same period, net income rose 42.6% to €150 million.
