Balmohk, the brand that the Danish giant Bestseller has designed and launched from Spain, has opened its first physical store, located in the Salera shopping center in city of Castellón, in a 3,500-square-feet space offering men’s and women’s clothing. As Modaes reported last July, the group plans to open 500 stores of the chain in five years.

With forecasts to finish its first year of activity of the brand with twenty stores and reach a network of five hundred in five years, the brand told Modaes the first five Spanish cities that will have Balmohk stores. Madrid, Granada, Vitoria and Zaragoza will follow the first physical store located in Castellón, in the Salera shopping center.

With 3,500 square feet, the new brand aimed at a young public will have a selection of men’s and women’s garments with an average price, according to the company, below that of the main chains aimed at the young segment. A pair of women’s jeans ranges from €19.99 to €25.99.

Balmohk launched its online platform on September 3rd, while activating its social media profiles to go to market with the autumn-winter 2025 collection. Both on the website and social profiles, the company seeks to interact with users by generating a conversation that wants to adapt to new generations.

The brand began to take shape in 2023 and is the first Bestseller brand to be born beyond its headquarters in Denmark. Balmohk has been created through the new company Balmohk Fashion and operates globally from the group’s headquarters in Madrid, where it has its own team.

The brand has a team of thirty people for areas such as product, design, controlling, ecommerce and marketing. The team, which will continue to grow in the coming months, is led by Andrés Contreras, CEO of Bestseller in Spain, Portugal and Latin America and member of the Danish group’s senior management.
