Paris opens the doors of myths. Simon Porte Jacquemus will be, for the first time, curator and set designer of the Mythes exhibition, to be held from October 20th to 24th at the Collège des Bernardins in Paris, in collaboration with Galerie Chenel and Galerie Dina Vierny. The exhibition forms a dialogue between pieces from antiquity and sculptures by Aristide Maillol under the creative eye.

The exhibition will take place at the Collège des Bernardins in Paris, located in one of the most historic and cultural districts of Paris, from October 20th until October 24th. The exhibition will then continue at Galerie Chenel and Galerie Dina Vierny, partners of the exhibition, from October 30th to December 20th.

 

 

 

 

Jacquemus has transferred his recognizable artistic stroke to Mythes, uniting fashion, creativity, sculpture and history under his creative gaze among marbles, lines, silhouettes and art.

 

The designer and founder of his eponymous brand, born in 2009, reorganized his corporate structure last May, with the creation of the new entity Jacquemus La Maison Mère, under which his fashion and beauty divisions operate.

 

On the same day that Mythes ends, Art Basel Paris kicks off its latest edition directed by Clémente Délephine, turning Paris into the capital of art, design and style in partnership with Loïc Prigent, French journalist and filmmaker; Edward Enninful, British fashion editor; and with Miu Miu as official partner in its next citywide fair.
