Zadig&Voltaire strengthens its local market. The French premium fashion company has opened a pop-up store for its accessories offer at the Galleries Lafayette in Paris. The company is already present in the country with 32 points of sale.

 

The company, founded in 1997 by French businessman Thierry Giller, has two permanent concessions in the department stores for its womenswear and menswear collection was well as eight concessions in Printemps and 22 directly operated stores in Paris. 

 

The company that is headquartered in the French capital, is present in more than 34 countries around the world and the American fund TA Associates acquired 30% stake of the company in 2012. 

 

 

 

 

Last year the company stated that it was looking for a new investor to boost its international expansion as well as double its annual sales volume to 500 million euros in the next 5 years, but at the end the company didn’t reach an agreement. 

 

Galleries Lafayette is one of the biggest department stores groups in the world. The company was founded in 1912 by Théophile Bader and Alphonse Kahn. Its initial flagship is located in Paris, but now the group operates with several other location in France and other countries like Germany and China.
