Rituals Closes 2025 with a 15.7% Surge, Reaching €2.43 Billion
Dutch beauty powerhouse celebrates its 25th anniversary with a notable €2.43 billion in revenue, boasting over 1,500 stores across 33 countries. As part of its ambitious growth strategy, the brand is set to expand into Asia by 2026.
Rituals closes its 25th anniversary year with double-digit growth. The Dutch cosmetics company reported revenues of €2.43 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%.
Rituals’ gross operating profit (ebitda) stood at €545 million, representing a margin of around 22.5%, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.
Rituals has around 1,500 stores and is present in more than 4,800 points of sale in department stores and perfumeries, in a total of 33 countries. Last year, the company recorded “record growth” in France, Italy and the United Kingdom. The cosmetics proposition “experienced further growth” also in China and the Middle East.
Rituals will open more than 200 stores worldwide by 2025
The company launched more than two hundred stores worldwide in 2025, including flagship stores on Oxford Street in London, Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich and Tauentzien in Berlin. Online sales, meanwhile, account for more than 20% of its revenues.
Rituals is strengthening its refill offer for its packs, with 9.9 million sold in 2025, 22% more than the previous year. It is also focusing on the Mind Oasis project, which offers hydromassage and “mental massage” treatments. The proposition is present in eleven locations in the Netherlands, Spain, France and the United Kingdom, with more openings planned for 2026.
Rituals CEO Raymond Cloosterman said that “2026 will be a year of investment focused on maintaining momentum,“ and announced that the company will renovate 1.500 stores, continue to expand in Asia, accelerate innovation with new products and continue the rollout of Mind Oasis.
The Rituals cosmetics company was founded in 2000 by Raymon Clooseterman. Headquartered in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), the company has a strong presence in Spain, with more than 1,000 employees between stores and offices.
