Tapestry underpins top management with new operations’ responsible
Thomas A. Glaser has joined Tapestry from VF Corporation, where he was responsible for group’s supply chain division until now.
Tapestry underpins its management. The company, also owner of Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman, among others, has appointed a new responsible for piloting group’s operations.
Thomas A. Glaser joins Tapestry from the American VF Corporation, where he was vice-president and responsible for company’s supply chain division. Previously, the executive had work in PVH as sourcing and operations’ vice-president.
“His experience in management and transformation of complex supply chains to face innovation will help to Tapestry’s new stage”, has explained Victor Luis, CEO of the company.
The group closed 2018 with a setback of a 32.7% in its net benefit, until 397.5 million dollars (348.8 million euros), affected by the purchase of Kate Spade. Group’s sales, for its part, grew a 31% until 5,880 million dollars (5,160.3 million euros).
