Hoff takes a new step in its evolution to become a global player. The Spanish sneaker brand, founded by Fran Marchena in 2017, has added French designer David Tourniaire-Beauciel as head of design, a position from which he will lead the company’s global creative strategy and set the aesthetic direction of its new stage.

The appointment represents a qualitative leap for Hoff, which in just eight years has gone from being an emerging project from Elche to consolidate itself as one of the main Spanish footwear operators in the medium-high segment. With this incorporation, the company strengthens its international positioning and is committed to greater sophistication in product, materials and concept.

Tourniaire-Beauciel is one of the most influential figures in contemporary footwear design. His career is closely linked to luxury maisons and to the transformation of some of the most recognized brands in the sector. Over three decades he has worked for Balenciaga, Maison Margiela, Chloé, Givenchy, Ferragamo, Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney and Fendi, among others.

During his time at Balenciaga, he was responsible for models such as the Triple S, which redefined the concept of the sneaker in luxury, and the Speed, the sock-like model that marked a change of era in the industry. He has also collaborated with Jacquemus, participating in the development of the footwear that accompanied its international takeoff, and has directed the design of Clergerie and Shoes 53045, where he consolidated his hybrid vision between artisanal tradition and urban culture.

The company explains that the arrival of Tourniaire-Beauciel marks a before and after in the history of Hoff. For Marchena, having the designer behind iconic silhouettes symbolizes the creative maturity of the Spanish brand. The first result of this collaboration materializes in Seven, the new Hoff model that launches this week.

Hoff has built in a few years a recognizable identity based on the combination of design, comfort and color. The company closed the 2024 financial year with a turnover of €66 million, representing a 20% growth over the previous year, and has set itself the goal of doubling its sales in three years.

At the end of 2024, the company’s capital was acquired by the private equity firm Rahco and a family office, which together took a 14% stake. Hoff currently obtains 60% of its turnover outside Spain and has a network of sixty stores, of which 45 are company-owned and 15 are franchises.

Plans for 2025 include the opening of nine new international points of sale, with second locations in London and Paris, and first stores in Mexico City, Munich, New York, Miami and Milan. The company expects to reach a turnover of €80 million by the end of the year.
