Owner of Nivea, Eucerin and La Prairie, Beirsdorf is the world's third largest cosmetics group by turnover. The company, founded in 1882 in Hamburg, employs more than 17,000 people. The group operates three factories in Germany, two in Spain, one in Poland, two in Mexico and one in Thailand.

The German cosmetics giant, known for brands like Nivea and Eucerin, has adjusted its consumer segment growth forecasts down by 1.5% for the year, citing tariff pressures as a contributing factor.
