Beiersdorf rise its sales by 2.4% until September and keeps full year outlook
The German cosmetic company has finished the first nine months of the year with a revenue of 5.7 billion euros.

Beiersdorf remains on the rise. The German cosmetics company has finished the first nine months of the year with an increase of 2.4% of its revenue, up to 5.7 billion euros. Africa, Asia and Australia have been the ones that has led the growth of the group, with a rise of 10.6%. In Europe and America, the company has raised its sales 2.5% and 8.3%, respectively.
By business lines, the segment of brands aimed at the consumer, which includes the Nive, Eucerin, La Prairie and Healthcare brands, has increased its revenue by 6.6%, to 4.6 billion euros. The Tesa division, specialized in manufacturing adhesives for the industry, has grown 3.4% until September.
Beiersdorf has explained that it maintains its full year outlook. The company expects to grow between 3% and 5% in 2019. “In times of a challenging and very competitive market environment, it is more important than ever to adapt our business model to new economic and technological conditions,” said Stefan De Loecker, chief executive officer of the group, in a statement.
