Javier López has been Chief Executive Officer of Decathlon since March 2025, when he succeeded Bárbara Martín Coppola. He has around 26 years of experience in the company. López served as CEO of Decathlon Spain from 2015 to 2022, and before that he led Decathlon Germany between 2012 and 2015. In 2022, he became Global Chief Value Chain Officer. He has held roles in areas such as digital, logistics, and retail.
