Fashion prices in the United States kick off 2020 with a 0.9% drop

Fashion prices in the United States start the year downwards. The sector recorded a 0.9% drop in its prices in the first month of the year, according to data released today by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. 

In specifics, in terms of group of activity, the men’s fashion category registered a year-on-year decrease in its prices of 0.1%, while the prices of women’s fashion fell 1.3% in the first month of the year.

On the other hand, US footwear increased by 0.9%. Jewelry, registered a drop in its prices of 2.2% in the first month of the year, while watchmaking increased by 9.3%.
