Fashion Icon Donatella Versace Appointed Jury President for Latin American Fashion Showcase
Renowned Italian fashion designer will preside over the jury for the awards’ second edition, scheduled from November 6th-9th, spotlighting ‘Hot by Heritage,‘ a salute to local traditions.
Donatella Versace assumes the role of ambassador in Latin America. The second edition of the Latin American Fashion Awards, to be held November 6th-9th, will feature Donatella Versace as jury president, succeeding Haider Ackermann.
The theme of the awards for this edition is Hot by Heritage, which pays tribute to the richness, resilience and strength of Latin American culture.

In its inaugural edition in 2022, the Latin American Fashion Awards brought together participants from more than 25 countries. For the past two years, the platform has been dedicated to the promotion and economic development of the winners of the first edition.

The winners of this new edition will be announced during the four-day celebration in November in the Dominican Republic, and will be invited to participate in a specific growth program to be held during Milan Fashion Week in September 2026, as well as being presented by the Camera Nazonale Della Moda Italiana in a group exhibition at the Fashion Club.
The Global Fashion Awards for Latin creatives around the world, founded by Constanza Cavalli Etro and Silvia Argüello, have become a platform that elevates designers, artists and entrepreneurs in the Latin American fashion industry.
