Wolford: CEO leaves the company after two years
Axel Dreher joined the company in 2013, as head of operations and later was chief financial officer. In 2017, the executive took the role of CEO.

Wolford modifies its team. Axel Dreher, until now chief executive officer of the Austrian hosiery company, has left the company. The executive joined the group in 2013 as head of operations, and subsequently was chief financial officer. In 2017, the executive took on the role of chief executive officer.
At the same time, the company has appointed Silvia Azzali, until now the group’s sales director as commercial manager. Azzali will be in changed of sales, merchandising and design division of the Austrian company.
“With Silvia Azzali and Andrew Thorndike, we are ensuring continuity in management while giving a new boost to the company,” the company said in a statement. The company, owned by the Chinese giant Fosum since May 2018, ended its last fiscal with a revenue of 137.2 million euros, 8% less than the previous year.
