Smcp names new chief executive for De Fursac

 

 

Smcp names new leader for it latest buy. The group, owned by Chinese company Shandong Ruyi, has appointed Elina Kousourna as new chief executive officer for menswear retailer De Fursarc.

 

Kousourna was the chief strategy and development director and will take her new role on the role next November, 19, replacing Edmond Cohen. Cohen will then be named president of the supervisory board of the company. Alix Le Naour will remain artistic director of the brand.

 

 

 

 

Flavien d’Audiffret, currently Smcp’s digital&innovation director, will replace Kousourna as the group’s chief strategy and development director, while also retaining responsibility for digital operations.

 

De Fursac was founded in 1973 and was acquired by Smcp last summer. Its revenues stood at 41.4 million euros in 2018, with a 5.4% increase in like-for-like sales. Smcp also owns premium French brands Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot.
