Revlon appoints former Coty exec Sergio Pedreiro as new COO
Revlon revamps its helm. The American cosmetics company has announced in a statement the signing of Sergio Pedreiro as its new chief operating officer. Pedreiro will officially join the company on January 8, 2020, and will report to Revlon’s president and chief executive officer, Debra Perelman.
The former Coty exec has served in several senior executive positions across a diverse array of industries. From 2009 to 2014, Pedreiro was the chief financial officer of Coty, where he achieved higher margins and significantly improved the group’s cash flow. He recently held the role of chief executive officer of Estre Ambiental, after joining the company as a director back in 2011.
Revlon ended its third quarter with a loss of $44.7 million. The New-York based company posted revenue of $596.8 million in the period.
