Primark brings its experimental concept to Spain with Seville flagship

 

 

The new store of the company, that will be located in the shopping mall Lagoh, will have a beauty salon and a cafeteria.

 

Primark expands its new experimental concept. Five months after its first experimental store opening in Birmingham, the Irish group reproduces this model in Spain, the second market of the group by revenue, in the city of Seville. Its flagship in the British location has a hair salon a cafeteria, both services also included in its new store opening.  

 

Primark’s Birmingham store format will be in the shopping mall Lagoh and will have a cafeteria and a hair salon, apart from this, the store also has an inside the store service called Duck&Dry that Xpress that provides esthetic services for an affordable price.

 

The opening is planed for the end of September and will have a commercial area of 7,000 square meters divided in two floors, becoming one of the biggest stores in the country.  

 

 

 

 

Primark plans to continue its expansion in the country with opening in cities like Barcelona and Bilbao. The group’s flagship in Madrid has 12,500 square meters surface, five floors, 91 dressing rooms, 131 cashers, one showroom and 580 employees.

 

Primark ended its fiscal year 2018 with a 6% increase in its sales compared to the 19% of the previous year. The company’s revenue was 8.5 million euros. Primark boosted its operational benefit 15%, up to 963 million euros.
