Natura rise its benefit 92.2% and grows 9.2% in the first half
The Brazilian cosmetic company, that announced the acquisition of Avon last May, scored sales for (1.5 billion dollars) between January and June.
Natura&Co speeds after Avon acquisition. The Brazilian cosmetic company, that announces last May the acquisition of the American company for 2 billion dollars, has closed its first half with its sales on the rise, at the same time its benefit was almost doubled.
The Brazilian, also owner of The Body Shop and Aesop, scored a revenue of 1.4 billion euros (1.5 billion dollars), 9.3% more that the same period last year. By brands, the one with the best performance was Aesop, with a rise of 28.9%, while Natura rised its benefit 6.5% and The Body Shop 8.9%.

In the first half, the Brazilian giant boosted its benefit 92.2%, up to 24.2 million euros (26.9 million dollars). The company stated that the good performance during the first half of the year is due to a good costs’ management, specifically during the second quarter.
By regions, Natura grew 5.7% in its local market, while in the rest of Latin America, the income of the brands rised 7.8% between January and June.
