Coach’s owner boosts its benefit 62% despite only growing 3% in 2018

 

 

Coach’s owner adds and keeps going. The American luxury holding Tapestry rised its benefits 61.8% in 2018, compared to the previous year. The company closed its fiscal year, ended 29th of June, with a net benefit of 643.3 million dollars, compared to the 397.5 million dollars of 2017.

 

Tapestry’s revenue was 6 billion dollars, 3% more compared to the one achieved in 2017. The ebitda of the group arrived at 766.2 million dollars, compared to the 596.8 million dollars from its previous fiscal year.  

 

By brands, Coach grew 2% during the last year, up to 4.2 billion dollars. Sales in a comparable area also rised 2%. The brand counted with 986 establishments at the end of its fiscal.

 

Kate Spade, on the other hand, rised 6%, up to 1.3 billion dollars, while Stuart Weitzman rised its revenue 4%, up to 389 million dollars. Up until 29th of June, Kate Spade had 407 establishments and Stuart Weitzman 147.
