Christian Dior Parfums appoints former Coty exec as new CEO
Laurent Kleitman succeeds Claude Martínez in the position he had held for the past nineteen years, and that has made the Christian Dior perfumes line one of the biggest in the group.

Change at the helm of Dior. The French luxury company has appointed Laurent Kleitman as new chief executive officer of Christian Dior Parfums, as reported by WWD. Kleitman, who until now was president of the Coty’s consumer beauty division, has held different positions in cosmetic companies in the United States, London and Russia.
During his career, the executive has worked for nineteen years at Unilever. Kleitman also worked for LVMH as general manager and president of One Dior for Ruisa between 2009 and 2012, before joining Coty.
Laurent Kleitman will be in charge of following Martínez’s trail, which made Dior the jewel in the crown of the LVMH fragrance division, with revenues exceeding 2.5 billion euros. The main markets for Christian Dior perfumes are China, the United States, France, Japan and the United Kingdom. As for the best-selling perfumes, they are j’Adore, Miss Dior and Sayvage.
LVMH closed the first nine months of the year with a revenue of 38.3 billion euros, 16% more than in the same period of the previous year. The perfumes and cosmetic division of the group registered an 11% increase, up to 4.9 billion euros.
