Bonpoint taps former Ikks exec as new CEO

Bonpoint names new chief executive officer. The fashion company has appointed Pierre-André Cauche as the new chief executive officer, according to WWD. Cauche, until now chief executive officer of Ikks, will replace Christian Piat, Asia director, who had acted as interim CEO of Bonpoint after communications executive Marine-Sabine Leclercq stepped down in May 2019 after two years in the role.

Pierre-André Cauche will report to Valérie Hermann, managing director of EPI’s fashion and luxury division, who joined the company last December. The executive will be charged with developing its collections and reputation, fuel its distribution in Asia and upgrade its digital experiences.

Before joining Ikks in 1997, Cauche, a graduate of the Lille School, worked at Pimkie and Lynx Optique. Owned by the EPI French investment fund since 2006, Bonpoint was founded in 1975 and pioneered French couture dedicated to children’s fashion. Currently, 75% of the company’s revenues are generated in its local market.
