Alo Yoga Expands Latin American Footprint With First Store in Brazil
The U.S. sportswear company specializing in the practice of yoga continues its international expansion plans with the opening of a store in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo.


Alo Yoga continues to grow. The U.S. sports fashion company continues its international expansion plans with the opening of its first store in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo.
The company has raised the shutter on the new store, located in the JK Iguatemi shopping center. The expansion takes place in partnership with the Panamanian Dorben Group, as part of the brand's global expansion and to strengthen its presence in the Brazilian market.
With the opening of the store, Alo Yoga also enters the market with the official launch of the brand's online sales platform. In addition, the company will launch two new openings by 2025, one in Iguatemi Faria Lima and another in Diamond Mall, in Belo Horizonte.

In May, Alo Yoga sealed the opening of seven new stores in different Latin American markets, with the company planning openings in Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Panama.
Mexico was the market chosen by Alo Yoga to start operating in Latin America. The company opened in 2023 in the country with local partner Sordo Madaleno, with a first opening in the Artz Pedregal shopping center. Currently, the athleisure company already has five establishments in the Mexican market.
Founded in 2007 in Los Angeles, Alo Yoga operates around a hundred stores worldwide, mainly in the United States and Canada. The company began expanding into Europe in 2023 with the opening of its first store in London.
The firm owes its name to the acronym for Air, Land and Ocean, pursuing a brand strategy inspired by sustainability. Alo Yoga began its business by specializing in producing yoga apparel and yoga accessories such as yoga mats.
