PVH donates $1 Million dollars to Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business

 

 

PVH donates $1 million to private research university in New York City. The company, which owns brands such as, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen, and Speedo, established a new partnership with the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University to create an academic hub for the study of corporate responsibility and sustainability.

 

The partnership will work to guide students into becoming “the conscientious business leaders of tomorrow. The business is designed to enhance relationships between industry and academia, improve sustainability curriculum and convene global thought leaders.

 

PVH Chairman & CEO Manny Chirico graduated from The Gabelli School of Business and currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the University. “This partnership demonstrates PVH and Fordham’s shared commitment to educate the future by harnessing the power of corporate responsibility for both financial successes and societal impact,” said Chirico, according to the company’s press release.

 

“Our partnership with PVH Corp. reflects an innovative model for the Gabelli School – one that takes a holistic, multi-stakeholder approach toward creating impact,” said Donna Rapaccioli, Ph.D., dean of the Gabelli School of Business. PVH has over 38, 000, operating over 40 countries with a $9.7 billion in annual revenues.
